Speaker of the Legislature, Dr. Desbo Mohono presided over the House Sitting where Members of the political parties represented in the Legislature paid tribute to the late Hon. Modiegi Dikolomela of the Economic Freedom Fighters. She passed on on 2 February 2026 and was laid to rest at her home town of Schweizer Reneke in Mamusa Local Municipality.
