North West Legislature Joint Committees on Cooperative Governance, Premier and Finance to Meet Office of Premier, Finance and Cooperative Governance Department over Section 106, 139 and 154 Municipal Interventions

The North West Provincial Legislature Portfolio Committee on Cooperative Governance, Human Settlements and Traditional Affairs chaired by Hon. Kgalalelo Makgokgowa together with the Portfolio Committee on Premier and Finance chaired by Hon. Nathan Oliphant will hold an oversight meeting with the Office of the Premier, Department of Finance and Department of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs over the provincial government’s interventions in terms of Section 106, 139 and 154 in municipalities in both the sixth and seventh administrations.

Office of the Premier is expected to present a report on the Provincial Executive decisions on municipal interventions whilst both Cooperative Governance and Finance departments are expected to brief the Joint Committees on the interventions since their inception and the progress and challenges in respect of the specific interventions and terms of references including details of project leads, experience, remuneration and CVs as supporting documents.
