The Deputy Speaker of the North West Provincial Legislature, Hon. Collen Maine presided over Legislature House Sitting where MEC for the Department of Finance, Keneetswe Mosenogi presented the 2024/25 Provincial Adjustment Budget Speech.
Members of different political parties represented in the legislature will debated on the 16 Days of Activism for No Violence Against Women and Children.
2024/25 Provincial Fiscal Framework has been adjusted upwards by R435million from R53,7 billion to R54.135 billion. Included on the adjustment are conditional grants rollovers of R205,3 million, equitable share rollovers of R57,7 million, upwards adjustments of R1,5million on Own Revenue, R3,9 million from National Department of Sports, Arts and Culture for refurbishment of Mmabana Arts, Culture and Sports Foundation.
