North West Legislature SCOPA to Hold MFMA Public Hearings with Mamusa, Kgetleng and Ditsobotla Municipalities over 2019/20 Audit Reports

The North West Provincial Legislature Standing Committee on Provincial Public Accounts will hold Municipal Finance Management Act public hearings with the Mamusa, Kgetleng and Ditsobotla Local Municipalities over the 2019/20 audit reports and to seek clarity from responses on questions emanating from the Auditor General’s reports.

The meeting is scheduled as follows:

Date : 24 May 2023

Time : 12:00-13:30 Mamusa Local Municipality

13:30-14:00 Auditor General’s Briefing on Kgetleng Local Municipality

14:00-15:30 Kgetleng Local Municipality

15:30-16:00 Auditor General’s Briefing on Ditsobotla Local Municipality

16:00-18:00 Ditsobotla Local Municipality
Venue: Legislature Auditorium

Mayors, Speakers and senior management of Mamusa, Kgetleng and Ditsobotla Local Municipalities are expected to attend the public hearings.

The meeting will be streamed live on the North West Provincial Legislature Facebook page.
