The North West Provincial Legislature (NWPL) delegation is participating in the 9th Annual Conference of the African Network of Parliamentary Budget Offices (AN-PBO), hosted by the Parliament of the Republic of Namibia from 21–25 September 2026 at the Swakopmund Hotel and Entertainment Centre.
Theme: “The Role of PBOs in Supporting their Legislatures’ Oversight Towards Realizing African Continent Agenda 2063”
The AN-PBO brings together Parliamentary Budget Offices from across the continent to strengthen legislative oversight, fiscal transparency, and evidence-based decision-making.
The Conference provides a platform for peer learning, sharing best practices and enhancing the capacity of PBOs to support Legislatures in their oversight mandate over public finances, ensuring accountability and driving Africa’s development in line with Agenda 2063: The Africa We Want.
The NWPL remains committed to strengthening fiscal oversight and promoting sound financial governance for the people of the North West.
