Hon. Collen Maine, legislature staff, the Mayor of Moretele Local Municipality, Cllr. George Manyike and municipal representatives commemorated the International Nelson Mandela Day at Maubane Health Information Centre in Maubane, Moretele Local Municipality.

The center provides various community services which include psychological support; homework supervision; cooked meals for the needy; counselling and awareness campaigns.

The legislature donated 50 blankets, grocery hampers; sanitary towels and stationery material; school shoes; gardening and planting of trees, cleaning and plumbing material, refurbished furniture. Hon. Maine together with the stakeholders also cleaned the centre and planting trees.
