The Standing Committee on Oversight over the North West Legislature led by Hon Michael Groenewald held an oversight meeting with the Public Service Commission (PSC) at the Madibeng Local Municipality.
The PSC Commissioner, Mr Mandla Makhaya made a presentation on their mandate and role in the government sphere. Amongst some of the functions stated were on the organisational structure of the PSC, Legislative Framework, Powers and functions, obligations relating to PSC as well as responses to the North West Legislature Resolutions and tabled reports.
The North West Legislature also held a Chairpersons’ Forum where amongst other matters the Legislature Programming was discussed.
