The North West Provincial Legislature’s Portfolio Committee on Public Works and Roads, Community Safety and Transport Management led by Hon Mmoloki Cwaile and the Standing Committee on Provincial Public Accounts led by Hon Job Dliso will have a joint committee meeting with the Department of Public Works and Roads over recent media reports of a blacklisted company that was awarded a tender unlawfully.
The department will present on allegations the department allegedly awarded a contract of R134 million to a company that was previously terminated due to poor workmanship.
The meeting is scheduled as follows:
